Work I’ve built, including what didn’t land.

A Nature and Form exercise: draw a peacock, then take away everything that is not the peacock, over and over, until what is left is a single black mark that still reads as the bird.

A module on making a thing that does not exist look like a photograph of a thing that does. Existing products — a glass kettle, a torch, a turned bowl — modelled and rendered until the glass, the brushed metal and the contact shadow stopped giving it away.

An open competition entry for the identity of the Nashik-Trimbakeshwar Simhastha Kumbh Mela: twelve navy lines radiating from a red point, readable as a shivling one way and a water droplet the other, with a wayfinding set built from the same geometry.

A systems project that began as a brainstorm about civic sense, went through shaming, and narrowed to one segment: unmarried urban working women aged twenty to forty, and the structures that hold them in place.

A term spent learning to draw what light does. Marker and pencil on paper, then a stylus on a Wacom tablet, over and over on the same handful of objects until gloss, chrome, brushed metal and matte plastic could be put down without looking anything up.

Renovation and redesign proposal for a district library, and first prize in the college competition it was entered into.

Freelance graphic design for a pharmaceutical business, as creative head of a small team. The first job where running the design side and knowing the industry were the same job.

A ground-up rebuild of a retail-education academy's site: 448 static pages in two fully translated languages, built from a complete content archive of the original.
