System design
A systems module that started with four of us and one question — why people disregard rules they agree with — and ended with each of us carrying it somewhere different.
Coming soon. The research phase was a team of four and that part is shared; after it, each of us took the work in our own direction. What was published here was a friend's half, not mine, so it has come down. My own direction is being written up and will go in its place.
// Why this exists
The module was about systems rather than objects: take something nobody can fix with a product, map it until the structure is visible, and only then decide where an intervention could go. Four of us started on civic sense in the broadest sense — why people disregard rules they agree with — and sorted that into branches. One branch was crowd behaviour. One was disregard for law. One was shaming. That shared mapping is where the project forked, and everything past it belongs to whoever carried it.
